Hello! I’m Judy Conrad, founder of Spartan Rottweilers in the beautiful Ozarks. For more than 17 years, my family and I have been dedicated to raising exceptional Rottweilers, known for their intelligence, loyalty, and loving nature. Our Rottweilers aren’t just bred; they are nurtured in our home as cherished members of our family.

Spartan Rottweilers is more than a kennel-it’s a calling rooted in my deep love for the breed and a lifelong commitment to nurturing, whether raising my children or my dogs. Faith has always guided my journey, and I continue to lean on God for wisdom in every decision, big or small. Each puppy is raised with care, prayer, and the intention that they will become a beloved part of your own “family pack”

💗 A Life of Care

As a mother of four, I’ve always had a natural heart for raising babies—and that same care extends to every Rottweiler I bring into this world. My puppies are raised in my home, never in cold cement runs or impersonal kennels. From their very first day, they experience warmth, play, and early socialization, growing up as true members of our family.

🧬   Selective, Responsible Breeding

Every breeding dog in my program is hand-selected, AKC registered, and fully OFA certified for hips, elbows, and other hereditary traits. If a dog doesn’t develop into the strong, sound, and stable Rottweiler that reflects the very best of the breed, they are not included in my breeding program. At Spartan Rottweilers, I value integrity over quantity-each litter is planned with care, purpose, and a commitment to excellence.

🩺 Vet-Partnered & Health-Focused

At Spartan Rottweilers, the health and well-being of every dog is my top priority. I work closely with a trusted veterinarian, who visits my home at least twice a year to inspect my facilities and review our health protocols. Every puppy receives thorough veterinary checkups from birth until the day they join their new families, and I remain actively involved in the ongoing health and happiness of all my adult dogs.

Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) & Early Scent Introduction (ESI)

From the very beginning, every Spartan Rottweiler puppy benefits from advanced early development protocols. I implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises during the critical first weeks of life. ENS has been shown to improve cardiovascular performance, strengthen immune function, and increase stress tolerance-helping puppies grow into resilient, adaptable adults.

In addition, I practice Early Scent Introduction (ESI), exposing puppies to a variety of scents during their early days. ESI helps enhance their natural scenting abilities, supports brain development, and lays the foundation for confident, well-adjusted dogs-whether they become beloved family companions or working partners.

📚 Dedication to Learning & Responsible Breeding

I'm not just passionate about raising Rottweilers — I'm passionate about doing it right. As Spiderman said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” I carry a tremendous responsibility as a breeder to give every puppy the absolute best start in life, and I take that responsibility seriously.

Each month, I invest time into veterinary and dog training webinars covering a wide range of topics — from neonatal puppy development and early socialization to preventative care for infections and common puppy illnesses. I believe staying current with the latest veterinary practices and canine enrichment strategies isn’t optional — it’s essential.

To deepen that knowledge, I’ve completed multiple certifications through the AKC Canine College, including:

• Dog Breeding Systems
• Breeding Selection & Pedigree Analysis
• Understanding Genetic Defects
• Canine Health & Wellness

This ongoing education helps me make informed decisions — from choosing breeding pairs to designing enrichment routines and ensuring the lifelong health of every pup born here. Because when it comes to breeding, learning never stops — and neither do I.

🏡 Raised in a Home, Not a Kennel

Every Spartan Rottweiler puppy is born and raised right in my home-not in cold kennels or isolated runs. From their very first days, they’re immersed in the rhythms of daily life, receiving constant human interaction, affection, and structured play. This early exposure helps them develop into well-adjusted, confident companions who thrive as true members of the family.

Outdoors, my Rottweilers enjoy five spacious play yards, each equipped with custom-built structures designed to challenge them both physically and mentally. Whether it’s climbing, running, or the multitude of balls and tires, every activity is crafted to nurture their natural intelligence, athleticism, and need for stimulation.
