Puppy Pickup & Delivery Options
We want your puppy’s journey home to be as smooth and stress-free as possible. Whether you’re picking up in person or arranging delivery, here are the options we offer:
πΎ 1. Pickup at Our Farm in Viola, Arkansas
We love meeting our puppy families! Many people turn their pickup day into a fun road trip. We’ll schedule a time for you to come to our home and pick up your puppy. We’ll have everything ready—your paperwork, food sample, and of course, your new pup!
βοΈ 2. Fly In & Fly Home With Your Puppy
Prefer to pick up your puppy and fly home together?
- Book a round-trip flight for yourself into Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Bring an airline-approved soft-sided carrier for the return flight (your puppy rides in-cabin).
- We’ll meet you at the airport with your puppy and all required vet paperwork.

π§βοΈ 3. Use Your Own Flight Nanny
You're welcome to book a flight nanny—a person or service that hand-delivers puppies on planes. Many reputable companies offer this service (usually at a premium). We’ll coordinate with your chosen provider and meet them at the airport with your puppy and paperwork.

π¦ 4. Airline Shipping via American Airlines
This is by far the most popular way we get our puppies to their new families.
It’s fast, safe, and allows your pup to get to you in comfort and style.
We can ship your puppy via American Airlines Cargo, safely and professionally.
- We’ll help you choose the most convenient pet-friendly airport near you.
- We monitor all flight conditions, but please note:
β³οΈ Shipping is only permitted when temperatures are above 20°F at the origin, layover, and destination airports.

- Your puppy travels in a brand-new, airline-approved crate (yours to keep), with soft bedding, food, and water.
- You’ll receive a full flight itinerary, tracking info, and constant communication from us.
- This is by far the favorite way to get your pup to you.

βοΈ Bonus: Our puppies begin kennel training at 6 weeks old, so most sleep soundly throughout their flight!

Local Delivery (up to 300 miles)
- Delivered to your home or meet-up point.

Full-Service Ground Transport (over 300 miles)
- Your puppy travels with a trusted family member who’s part of the Spartan Rottweilers team.
- Includes food, water, potty/play breaks, and regular photo/video updates.
- May include an overnight stay depending on distance.

Expedited Door-to-Door (Non-Stop Service)
- Two drivers, no overnight layovers, faster delivery.
- Great for longer distances when time is a factor.

Final Pickup Policies
Our puppies begin the natural weaning process with their mother around 5 to 6 weeks of age and are fully weaned between 6½ to 7 weeks. By 8 weeks old, your puppy will be eating solid puppy food and ready to go to their new home.
8 weeks of age is the earliest your puppy can go home.
We ask that all puppies be picked up no later than the weekend following their 8-week birthday. If your puppy turns 8 weeks on a weekend, you have up to 3 days after that to arrange pickup. After this 3-day window, a boarding fee of $10 per day will apply unless prior arrangements have been made.
If you know in advance that you'll need us to keep your puppy past the 8-week mark, please contact us ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
Payment Schedule
To reserve your puppy, we follow this minimum payment schedule:
- $300 deposit to get on the waiting list
- $800 payment when the puppies are born and you choose your puppy
- $800 payment at 3 weeks of age
- Final $900 payment by the time the puppies are 6 weeks old
These payments go toward the total purchase price of $2,800.
All payments are non-refundable.
π‘ You are welcome to make larger or more frequent payments and even pay off your puppy early if you’d like. The schedule listed above is simply the minimum required to stay in good standing.
Puppies must be paid for in full by 6 weeks of age, regardless of the actual pickup or delivery date.
